THE GROWTH COMPANY

Manchester-based GC Group is a not-for-profit, commercially-driven organisation dedicated to economic development, employment and enterprise, inward investment and skills. They boast the skills of employers and young people, help adults to overcome barriers to employment and create the entrepreneurs and leaders of the future. The GC Group supports the Skills Support for the Workforce (SSW) programme, which provides fully-funded workplace training for SMEs.

CALDERDALE COLLEGE

North Yorkshire; York; East Riding

The West Yorkshire-based college is the sole provider of higher education awards in Calderdale. The establishment is the largest provider of further education courses and work-based learning. The college supports the Skills Support for the Workforce (SSW) programme, which provides fully-funded workplace training for SMEs.

New Anglia

The Lincolnshire-based firm has a proven track record of delivering high-performing skills and employability contracts for the European Social Fund (ESF) and also delivering other large scale regional training and skills programmes for EU fund managing authorities. Steady Training supports the Skills Support for the Workforce (SSW) programme, which provides fully-funded workplace training for SMEs.

DTS offers nationwide tailored learning experiences for individuals, employers and their employees. Having developed apprenticeship programmes in response to the new standards, introduced as part of the wider apprenticeship reforms, DTS meet the needs of employers across a wide range of sectors. DTS supports the Skills Support for the Workforce (SSW) programme, which provides fully-funded workplace training for SMEs.

STEP FORWARD

Coast to Capital

Skills Training UK, with headquarters in Harrow, is a nationwide training provider for apprenticeship levy-paying employers as well as supplying traineeships and work-based training. They deliver contracts for the European Social Fund (ESF) including the course of Step Forward – Coast to Capital LEP, aimed at those aged 16+, which is designed to support small and micro businesses with staff upskilling and development, people at risk of redundancy and people who have recently been made redundant wishing to re-train or upskill.

Skills Support for the Workforce is a fully funded programme supported by a variety of training providers across a number of areas, to develop and upskill employees within small and medium-sized enterprises and large employers through recognised accredited qualifications and bespoke training packages.
