Academic Misconduct and Appeals Policy
HIT Training has a commitment to their students, apprentices, employers, stakeholders and external organisations that all assessment is conducted in a fair, inclusive environment. Assessment must be accurate and a true representation of an individual’s work and represents their skills and knowledge.
Access and Participation Statement
HIT Training’s overarching aim for all learners is to develop learners personal, economic, and social status and this access and participation statement will identify the commitments that HIT Training is making to improving access, success and progression for students from all backgrounds and underrepresented groups on Higher Education apprenticeships.
Apprenticeship Services Policy
HIT Training ensure that all students and apprentices have a positive experience, both academically and through wider support services. The combination of both aspects ensure that they are fully supported and have their needs met in full.
Customer Experience Policy
The purpose of this policy is to establish a framework for monitoring customer experience through surveys and forums related to HIT Training Ltd services. It aims to collect feedback, analyse responses, report findings, and implement actionable strategies for improvement.
Complaints Policy
HIT Training Ltd. embeds a strong commitment to provide a supportive working and learning environment to enable all to achieve their commitments and goals.
Corporate Social Responsibility Policy
HIT Training integrates its environmental and social policy into its Corporate Social Responsibility Strategy (CSR).
Data Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains in detail how we collect personal data, the reasons for this collection, the legal basis for processing and how we handle and maintain the security of the personal data we process.
Delivery Partner Pricing and Subcontracting
The policy applies to all supply chain activity supported with funds supplied by the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) or any successor organisations.
Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Policy
HIT is committed to encouraging equality and diversity among our workforce, and eliminating unlawful discrimination. The aim is for our workforce to be truly representative of all sections of society and our learners, stakeholders and each employee to feel respected and able to give their best.
Gender Pay Gap
The gender pay gap shows the difference in average pay between women and men in all roles within our organisation. At the time of the snapshot date, our payroll comprised 267 employees of which 73 were male and 194 were female. This represents a 27.34% male and 72.65% female gender split (2022 figures 25.88% M and 74.12% F, 2021 figures: 27.97% M, 72.03% F, 2020 figures: 28.13% M, 71.87% F.
Hardship Fund Policy
HIT Training’s Student Support Fund is discretionary funding to help relieve financial hardship that might affect a student’s participation in Higher Education. The fund is to help with unexpected costs and cannot be expected to fully resolve a student’s situation. We are unable to provide large sums for those who have not made realistic provision for their studies.

Policy Regulatory Framework
HIT Training provides a clear and transparent approach in line with the OfS to provide an academic framework that provides guidance on how academic credits and qualifications are awarded.
Quality Standards & Conditions Policy
The purpose of this policy is to ensure that Quality has a structured plan and approach to ensuring that the provision for Higher Education aligns with the Office for Students, protects the integrity of the qualification, and supports progression and outcomes for students. This policy must be read in conjunction with TAQA, Sanctions and Suspensions, Malpractice and misconduct.

The aims of the company safeguarding policy are to provide an environment where all can work safely; the Company will take every reasonable precaution to minimise risk while providing demanding, challenging and enjoyable training and development via online and face to face activities.
