What is Level 4 Learning and Skills Mentor?
You’ll develop the skills to offer one-to-one support and guidance in the workplace or training setting. Learn to build trust, use active listening and questioning, and tailor your approach to individual needs. Gain confidence in setting goals, giving feedback, and maintaining professional standards, with a strong focus on safeguarding and equality. You’ll also reflect on your own practice and work collaboratively to drive continuous improvement. By the end of the apprenticeship, you’ll be equipped to inspire, guide, and make a real impact as a mentor.

Functional skills
While Functional Skills are no longer mandatory for adult apprentices (19+), literacy and numeracy skills remain essential for success.
For those without prior English and Maths qualifications, we recommend level 2 maths and level 2 English to support career growth and workplace efficiency.
Our tailored support ensures these skills are seamlessly integrated into the apprenticeship journey, helping every apprentice develop these vital skills.
